Marshawn Lynch was a full participant in practice today, will he play for the Seahawks on Sunday?

Here we go again…..

The Marshawn Lynch watch is on again, and today the word out of Renton is that the enigmatic running back made it through a full practice.

How good he looked is up for debate. Offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell raved about Beast Mode:

"“He looks good…..probably one of the best days that he’s had out here today. He’s in there, he’s moving around, he’s making more cuts, probably a little bit more tempo to it, as well. So we’ll just continue to go day-to-day with it.’’ –Darrell Bevell"

But offensive line coach Tom Cable was more subdued in assessing Lynch’s performance:

"“To me he looks the same (as last week). So it’s just a matter of their recovery and feeling confident that he can play.’’ — Tom Cable"

Lynch is trying to complete his recovery from surgery to reattach abdominal muscle to the pelvic bone. He hasn’t played in a game since November 15th. Last week he practiced fully all three days and Pete Carroll said during the week he would be a “full go” for the playoff game against the Vikings. But shortly before the team was about to board their team bus for the trip to Minnesota, Lynch told team officials he wasn’t 100% sure he was ready to play. Some fans and media members questioned his desire, in one case even going so far as to imply that this was Lynch’s way of getting revenge against the team for not using him on that fateful final play of the Super Bowl.

But Cable sees it for what it really was; a player coming off the first surgery of his career who just wasn’t sure he was all the way back yet:

"“He had surgery, they cut on him, and so he has to have a feel and he has to feel very confident he can go out and do it We don’t want him to just go in and have a couple plays and be done. We want him to be able to finish a game and be able to continue to play and I think that’s what he’s trying to get a feel for.’’ — Tom Cable"

Cable said practice repetitions are being divided between Lynch and Christine Michael, who’s been starting in Lynch’s place and ran for 70 yards on 21 carries in the 10-9 wild card win over the Vikings.
