Seahawks (hopefully) welcome back Marshawn Lynch
By David Stobbe
The Seahawks are playing their best football at the right time and it’s about to get even better if star running back Marshawn Lynch is able to play.
Beast Mode is back practicing, and if all goes as planned he will be suiting up for the Seahawks’ second playoff game this Sunday. We probably won’t know until game time if he is able to play, but if he does the 12th Man should be extra excited for this game.
Lynch is still the same force that he was last year, despite struggles earlier on in the season. The inexperienced offensive line had more to do with the lack of productivity, than the notion that the running back was slowing down.
Marshawn Lynch is as tough as it gets to take down, and defenders often take “business decisions” when deciding if they should get in his way. He is a force to be reckoned with and makes life extremely difficult for the opposing defense.
Lynch came back to Seattle in great shape after his sports hernia surgery and has practiced fully each day this week. Assuming he plays, it wouldn’t surprise me if Marshawn has 20-25 carries and 100+ yards against the Panthers. He will break tackles left and right, put fear into the defenders’ eyes and will give the Seahawks energy like no other player can.
Russell Wilson will still carry this offense and keep playing like he has been the second half of the season. Wilson is the present and future of the Seahawks, but Lynch is the heart and soul.
Marshawn Lynch makes the impossible possible and puts the team on his back. He never gives up on a run and always fights for extra yards. Lynch has an attitude and swagger that his teammates feed off.

If Beast Mode gets on the field make sure you appreciate watching him. He has done amazing things for this franchise and will continue to work his magic during the playoffs. He is going to add an extra force to the Seahawks, just in time for another Super Bowl run.
