ZAC BROOKS, RB, Clemson

Most expect the Seahawks to take a running back at some point to team up with Thomas Rawls in the now Beastmode-less Seattle backfield.

Brooks is an intriguing candidate. He was a highly recruited running back out of Arkansas who saw carries as a true freshmen at Clemson. He’s big and physical at 6’1″ 200 lbs, and in fact was described by Clemson head coach Dabo Sweeny as the teams most physical runner. But injuries derailed his career, and a broken foot cost him his entire junior year.

He’s WAY off the radar, and projected to not be drafted by most services. The Seahawks clearly wanted to take a closer look at him, as he was one of their 30 allowed pre-draft visitors to VMAC recently. If they like what they see, and clearly he fits the style of runner they typically like, they could use one of their late picks to ensure they wrap him up.
