BRONSON KAUFUSI, DE, BYU

Kaufusi is a freak, and as already mentioned we know how the Seahawks feel about uniquely built athletes. At 6’6″ and 285 pounds with a massive wingspan, Kaufusi is also an outstanding athlete for his size. He clocked a 4.81 40 yard time at his pro day, to go along with 30″ vertical, 9’3″ broad jump and 25 bench press reps at 225 lbs. And he’s turned his skill-set into production on the field, recording 25.5 sacks for the Cougars over his career.

He’s an overaged draftee at 25 because he did a two year Morman mission before his playing career began, but as the Seahawks look for impact edge players in this year’s draft they just might be willing to take a chance on a guy who could contribute as a rookie. Kaufusi is generaly regarded as a 2nd day draft pick.
