Second year head coach Dan Quinn is going to dive deep into the defensive depth in this draft as he tries to build a defense similar to the one he guided in Seattle. He could take a chance on one of the high-ceiling/multiple-red-flag guys like Noah Spence or Robert Nkemdiche, but Floyd is the safe choice. He’s a long, explosive, athletic edge player who reminds some of Bruce Irvin, who Quinn coached with the Seahawks.
