Seahawks Picks

It appears that Seattle will have a busy day on Friday with four selections in rounds 2 and 3.  The Seahawks were able to add the 94th pick as a result of their trade with Denver.  Having five picks in the top 100 is extremely important and will help keep the Seahawks a top team for years to come.

Round 2 – Pick 56

Round 3 – Pick 90, 94, 97

Draft Needs

The two most important position groups that the Seahawks need to address are the defensive and offensive line.

The Seahawks could really benefit from finding a defensive lineman that can play both DE and DT, like a Michael Bennett.  They also need to draft a long term solution at nose tackle to replace Brandon Mebane.

The offensive line still needs work even after picking Germain Ifedi.  The Seahawks need to address the interior of the line by adding some competition at offensive guard and center.

The Seattle Seahawks also have needs at a few other positions.  Finding a player to replace Bruce Irvin at SAM linebacker is important.  The team also need to find a RB that can compete with Thomas Rawls and Christine Michael.
