THIRD ROUND, 97TH PICK OVERALL:

Seahawks took – Rees Odhiambo, OG, Boise State

I took – Sheldon Day, DT, Notre Dame

I already had an edge rusher and two starting-caliber offensive linemen, so it was time to add an interior pass rusher or nose tackle. I thought Day was one of the more intriguing, and explosive, pass-rushing prospects at DT left on the board, who also had the ability to slide out to DE in some situations. I guess I had him rated a bit too high. Day ended up going in the 5th round to Gus Bradley in Jacksonville.
