FOURTH ROUND, 147TH PICK OVERALL: (after a trade up)

Seahawks took – Quinton Jefferson, DT, Maryland

I took – Jeremy Cash, S, Duke

On one hand, I was thinking a lot like the Hawks in this range, as they traded up to get Jefferson specifically to fill that interior pass-rushing spot I had filled with Day.

On the other hand, I’m an idiot, as Cash went undrafted despite being expected to go in this range. He’s a big-hitting safety who can also cover in the slot, something I thought the Seahawks may have valued in this draft. Cash signed with Carolina after being one of the most highly-recruited guys who went undrafted.
