ARIZONA CARDINALS

This one is another no-brainer. For exactly the same reason as the Cardinals beat reporter chose Richard Sherman as their player to steal, I’m going with Patrick Peterson.

Five years in the league, five Pro Bowl selections and three 1st team All Pro’s. Peterson is perhaps the only CB in the league who’s more “Seahawky” than Sherman. Imagine pairing the two together. That’s 12′ 4″ of ballhawk. Forget the debate over who’s the better lockdown corner back, the discussion would then turn to whether they make up the best pairing of CB’s the league has ever seen.

It would also have a trickle-down effect, freeing up Jeremy Lane to play more slot CB.

So there you have it. The Seahawks have just acquired Aaron Donald, Joe Staley and Patrick Peterson without giving anything up in return.

Houston….. here we come.
