3 Seahawks who could become superstars in 2016
By Dan Viens
#1 Tyler Lockett, WR
When he was drafted, most of what we heard was how great he was as a returner, and he didn’t disappoint. He was as dynamic as advertised with a combined 1,200 yards and two TD’s running back punts and kickoffs. But the diminutive rookie also made a significant impact as a receiver with 51 catches for 661 yards and 6 TD’s. He showed elite-level route running skills and a penchant for making the tough catch in big moments.
But he was mostly overshadowed by Doug Baldwin’s insane statistical outburst late in the season.
This year could be different. Lockett and Russell Wilson have spent a ton of time together this off season, and the chemistry between them should be even tighter with a full year under their belts. Enemy defenses will likely be more focused on Baldwin early on, and this could allow “T-Lock” to get off to a great start.

If he continues to show the ability to produce big plays, both in the passing and return games, Lockett could be the biggest break out star for the Seahawks this year.
