Left Cornerback

Starter: Richard Sherman

Backup: Tharold Simon

If Russell Wilson is the face of the offense, then Richard Sherman is the face of Seattle’s defense. He’s everywhere, and the first person reporters turn to when they need a comment.

Scouting reports on Sherman said he was too tall and too slow to make it in the NFL. Multiple All-Pro selections later, Sherman is now arguably the best cornerback in the entire NFL.

Behind Sherman is a guy that many Seahawks fans aren’t all that happy with. Their last memories of Tharold Simon are of him getting repeatedly roasted in Super Bowl 49.

To be fair, Simon was hurt. He had shoulder surgery not long after that game, and needed surgery to repair a toe that wouldn’t stop dislocating. Simon is finally healthy, and should be ready to prove to fans that he belongs in Seattle.
