Russell Wilson’s biggest target has returned. Jimmy Graham is back practicing with the team after being activated off of the PUP list.

The Seahawks just got their big money tight end back. After insisting Jimmy Graham would be ready by Week 1, Seattle looks to be true to their word.

SeattlePI’s Stephen Cohen was one of the first to notice the 30-year-old take the field in uniform with a helmet, signalling that Graham was ready to go.

The Seahawks are starting to get key players back from injury, with Graham returning today and running back Thomas Rawls coming back two days ago. Wide receiver Doug Baldwin also returned to practice this morning.

In his first season in Seattle, Graham two touchdowns and 605 receiving yards in 11 games before tearing his patella tendon against the Pittsburgh Steelers, subsequently ending his season.

After Graham’s season-ending injury, Russell Wilson went absolutely bonkers in the latter half of the season. It will be interesting to see if Wilson can keep up that rate of production and if Graham can only add to the quarterback’s success.

Here’s some video of Graham in action, shot today by Seattle Times’ Bob Condotta.

Graham took part in the early non-contact drills at practice, but his day was over once team drills began. The former Hurricane’s workload should increase as time goes on, though right now the Seahawks are easing Graham back into things.

Barring a setback with injury, Graham should be more than ready to go when the Seahawks take the field against the Miami Dolphins in Week 1. After waiting through the offseason, CenturyLink Field will be full of 12’s roaring, cheering on their ‘Hawks and Graham.
