Russell Wilson’s “Magic” Third Quarter Touchdown
Breaking down Russell Wilson’s magical touchdown for the Seattle Seahawks against the Dallas Cowboys.
Russell Wilson had a fantastic night against the Dallas Cowboys. He went 16-21 for 192 yards. Wilson also threw for two touchdowns to PaulRichardson and Tyler Lockett, with no interceptions. He also never saw the ground once.
But what was most impressive was the offensive front Seattle had. It was one down in particular that made you even more happy to be a Seahawks fan.
😱😱😱
Russell Wilson is a MAGICIAN.
There’s really no other explanation for how he escaped this pressure. #DALvsSEA https://t.co/NZ8sW6EcmT

Third quarter. 8:52 on the game clock. Wilson snaps the ball. Everyone breaks into their assignments. But Wilson can’t find a target, so he doesn’t what he does best: scramble. And his o-line is right with him.
Everywhere he turns it looks to be like a Cowboy is right there to get him, but his o-line has his back. He spins once on the 13-yard line to get out of adversity. Still no open targets. He spins twice to get himself a better look at the field again.
Now he’s back at the 30-yard line. Still nothing. A Dallas Cowboys linemen comes charging at him and he steps up and throws a zinger about 20 yards down the field to Tyler Lockett whose standing in the corner of the end zone. Touchdown.
He has the ability to tire out defenses who are playing against him. Having them not only have to worry about the people they’re covering, but him as well, as he’s known to break a 25 yard run down the field and slide into a first down.
