Germain Ifedi

Ifedi arrived in Seattle with big expectations from fans, after he was named the team’s first round selection of this year’s draft.  Add that on to the fact that he is coming to a team with an offensive line that struggled mightily during much of last season.

Ifedi will be starting immediately at right guard, and will be counted on early to protect Russell Wilson.

At 6’ 5” and 325 lbs., Ifedi will win most of the one-on-one battles.  He can move pretty well for his size and is a very smart player, or, as Tom Cable likes to say, “He’s got a really cool brain.”  Another thing that has stood out from Ifedi is his competiveness during training camp.

Ifedi’s feisty and aggressive mindset will be important to the success of the big boys up front this season, as they missed that “nasty” type of attitude last year.  The Seahawks’ lineman need more players to take pride in their performances going forward.

Ifedi is someone you can build your offensive line around and he will help this position group reach new heights in 2016.
