Seahawks: 5 rookies ready to make an impact
By David Stobbe
CJ Prosise
The start of training camp for Prosise was not ideal, to say the least. He injured his hamstring on the first play of camp and was out of action for a couple weeks.
When he returned during week 3 of the preseason, though, you could see the exciting potential. Prosise hit the hole with an explosive burst and a smoothness that you simply can’t teach.
Prosise will be taking over the role of the departed Fred Jackson this season. That job entails being the running back on 3rd down, but Prosise will prove to do much more than that.
Being a former wide receiver he has excellent hands and the Seahawks will get creative with the way they use him. The Seahawks can always use another playmaker on offense and Prosise will be one of the difference makers this season.
He has the ability to make something out of nothing and whenever he touches the ball, Prosise has the potential to take it to the house. Look for C.J. Prosise to play a big role on the offense this season.
