Seahawks inactives report for Week 7 at Arizona: Kam out again
By Keith Myers
Seahawks inactives report: The Seattle Seahawks will be without Kam Chancellor, but otherwise both teams are relatively healthy for this Sunday Night Football matchup.
The Seattle Seahawks travel to Glendale to take on the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday Night Football this week. Both teams enter the game relatively healthy overall, though each team is missing one key player.
Seahawks Inactives
The big news here is that Michael Bennett isn’t listed. He hyperextended his knee last week, and there was worry that he’d miss considerable time. Instead, he’ll be back out there in his usual spot as the leader of Seattle’s defensive line.
Also back this week is Frank Clark. He sat out last week with a hamstring injury, but is all healed up and ready to go this week. That will be a big boost for Seattle’s pass rush.
Kam Chancellor being out was expected. He’ll miss his second-straight game with a groin injury. Kelcie McCray will get another start at strong safety to fill in.
Luke Willson is out after having knee surgery this week. He’ll be replaced by rookie Nick Vannett who only returned from his own injury last week. This will be Vannett’s first extensive action in the NFL, and he’ll be a massive upgrade as a blocker for Seattle’s run game.
Arizona Inactives
As expected, QB Carson Palmer will play. He’s been battling a hamstring issue all week, but there was never much doubt that he’d actually be ready. The injury will limit his already-poor mobility though.

Also hurting Arizona’s offense will be the lack of both John Brown and Jaron Brown (who is active but not expected to play much). The pair of receivers being out will greatly limit what the Cardinals can do offensively.
