Seahawks Inactives: Seattle surprisingly heathy vs Packers
By Keith Myers
The Seahawks inactives list is mostly full of heathy players for the first time all season. The Packers though are very thin at linebacker.
The Seattle Seahawks invade Lambo Field to take on the Green Bay Packers. The weather calls for snow, which should make for an interesting game.
Seahawks Inactives
The name missing from this list is Earl Thomas. Don’t get too excited though. He is now on injured reserve, and thus not on the roster. Steven Terrell will make his 2nd start, and play a significant role in his 4th straight game.
Other than Thomas, the Seahawks are surprisingly healthy after having a very lengthy injury report throughout the season.
Brock Coyle, the backup MLB who was pressed into action at SAM LB because of multiple injuries at the position is out. It might matter more, but starter Mike Morgan is back and will start. Kevin Pierre-Louis is finally heathy in case Morgan’s hip issue becomes problematic.
Also on the shelf this week is DE Damonte Moore. Moore played an important role in helping fill in when Michael Bennett was hurt. With Bennett back, Moore absence is more easily dealt with.
FB Will Tukuafu is out with a concussion. The Seahawks signed former Raiders pro-bowler Marcel Reece this week to fill in. Reece is far more versatile. If he plays well this week, there’s a decent chance that Tukuafu finds himself without a role after he gets healthy.
The only other injured player is RB CJ Procise. The Seahawks will likely wait until after Thursday’s game against Los Angeles before making a determination on his future this season. If it doesn’t appear that he’ll be back soon, the Seahawks will place him on IR and use the roster spot on someone who can help them in the playoffs.
Packers Inactives
Green Bay is banged up at linebacker. Nick Perry is out with a hand injury, Kyler Fackrell is out with a hamstring injury, while Blake Marinez is out with a knee issue.
Even the LBs who are playing aren’t particularly healthy. Clay Mathews and Damarious Randall both came into today’s game listed as questionable. Jake Ryan was limited all with an ankle injury, but there was never any doubt that he’d play.

Green Bay also has some issues on the offensive line. JT Lang was limited all week with a foot injury, but he will play. Center JC Tretter is also injured. He’s dealing with a knee issue and will not play today.
