The Seahawks Show in an official podcast of FanSided’s 12th Man Rising

On this episode of The Seahawks Show, hosts Ted Hicks and Kevin Daggett and Lee Vowell talk with the Seahawks’ Naz Jones, recently drafted out of the University of North Carolina. Jones is a defensive lineman who could help fill the role of interior run-stopper and also attack the opposing quarterback. How will he team with fellow newly-drafted player, Malik McDowell? How does Jones feel about learning from Michael Bennett and Cliff Avril.

Lee and Kevin and Ted also review the draft and other offseason news. What grade do the guys give the Seahawks for this year’s class? Kevin discusses whether the Seahawks did enough to address the issues along the offensive line. Ted talks generally about what NFL teams did to improve themselves. Lee speaks about whether McDowell is the answer to the future of the Seahawks defensive line.

Plus, the guys talk about Eddie Lacy’s garage sale. Lacy appears to be a player that Seattle can be proud of both on the field and off. What Lacy did in leaving Green Bay was a classy thing: having a garage sale where the proceeds went to charity.

The hosts also discuss Marshawn Lynch signing with the Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders and how we feel about it as Seahawks fans. We do wish Lynch well and hope he does well in Oakland. Are the Seahawks better off with the current running back group they have, though?

All of this is discussed.

Go Hawks!
