3. Bobby Wagner

Wagner is the best linebacker in the NFL. Some may argue that the Carolina Panthers’ Luke Kuechly is. Kuechly is great and if he ever wants to play in Seattle, 12s would welcome him. But Wagner is a great fit in the Seahawks defense. He is fast. Wagner is smart. He controls the middle of the field but has enough speed to cover sideline to sideline.

Imagine a Seahawks world with no Wagner. It is not good. Fellow linebacker K.J. Wright is underrated and great. Wright, though, does different things than Wagner can do. If there was no Bobby Wagner, NFL teams would take advantage of Seattle’s middle.

Opposing teams have to implement a gameplan that involves working around what Wagner can do. This says more about Wagner than any words I can write.
