CJ Prosise, Seahawks running back and New England Patriots destroyer, is one of three Seahawks to hold camps this month.

Prosise is holding his inaugural football camp for Richmond, Virginia-area youth. Prosise is originally from Petersburg, Virginia. The Seahawks running back is hosting the BeProsise Summer Skills Academy this weekend which is designed to teach youth football skills, character development and teamwork.

If I was a Virginia state youth (no matter how I say “youth” I cannot get My Cousin Vinny out of my head), I would definitely choose Prosise’s camp as one of mine. He’s an NFL running back with the successful Seahawks, he played college football at the University of Notre Dame and he would be from my area. Prosise is smart and talented, and could have a good future. This is a person worth learning from.

Michael Bennett holds camp in Hawaii, which would be awesome for any reason.

Bennett  and the Bennett Foundation will be holding the O.C.E.A.N. (“fighting Obesity through Community, Education, Activity and Nutrition”) camp at the University of Hawaii tomorrow (July 9th). This is an effort to teach healthy food choices and promote physical fitness. The nation – and the world as a whole – has issues with poor nutritional choices. Some do not have the opportunity and some do not to make wise choices.

Bearing this in mind, the Bennett Foundation offers his camp for free. (Have I said thousands of times that Michael Bennett is my favorite player for the Seahawks?)

Russell Wilson also held his R.W.Q.B. camp

Wilson held his own thing to help kids learn how to throw better, the Russell Wilson Quarterback Academy. Of course, learning from a short guy who quit football for a year so he could play baseball could not possibly be helpful, right?

This quarterback just happens to be a highly skilled and smart player who has won a Super Bowl. Maybe this is the best camp for quarterbacks ever!
