1.  Week 11 vs Atlanta Falcons

It took a while, but I finally picked a home game. The mid November, Monday Night showdown with the Atlanta Falcons comes in as the most intriguing game on the 2017 schedule. There are several reasons for this. The most obvious reason is the fact that the Falcons ended the Seahawks season in the divisional round last season. This would provide the Seahawks with an opportunity to exact revenge as they did in 2013 when they came off a heartbreaking loss to Atlanta. Of course this game will serve as a good midseason report card for Seattle. After all, the Falcons won the NFC last year. And then let a Super Bowl ring slip off of their collective fingers.

If the Seahawks want to once again climb the mountain and end up in Minnesota, they’ll need to show that they can beat the NFC’s elite. There is no doubt Century Link will be rocking for this one. The Falcons offense has seemed to find the weaknesses in Seattle’s defense. The Hawks will have to keep this high scoring offense in check if they want a shot in this game. We’ll see what these teams look like come mid November. You can bet that both Pete Carroll and Dan Quinn will have their teams geared up and ready to play. Speaking of Quinn, this will be his second trip back to Seattle since his days as the defensive coordinator under Carroll. The teacher vs. student Round Three dynamic only adds to the intrigue of this one.
