Eight is a random number, right? Mathematically, that is two for each team. But the Seattle Seahawks dominated this list.

Each team in the National Football League has some really good players. Even the Cleveland Browns have Joe Thomas! The NFC West has a great collection of talent, but most of that lies with the top two teams in the division, the Arizona Cardinals  and Seahawks.

Still, even the San Francisco 49ers have some players any team would be happy to have. I just cannot think of any names at this certain point. (Does Ronnie Lott still play with the 49ers?) And the Los Angeles Rams have one of the best players in the league. But more on him in a moment.

The Cardinals have some aging talent, but talented nonetheless. Quarterback Carson Palmer and Larry Fitzgerald may not be in the top eight of the division anymore, but they remain good.

The Seahawks, of course, have top talent in almost every unit of the team. A lot of Seahawks who are among the best at their positions in the league will not be on this list simply because of other Seattle teammates.

Who are the best eight players in the NFC West? Here’s a guess. (And please hold your applause for this great article until the end. Thank you. – author)
