Seattle Seahawks vs Chiefs: Preview, TV coverage and live stream
By Lee Vowell
The Seahawks are 2-0 to start the preseason proving they are Super Bowl-bound? Not really. It’s the preseason. Game three is on Friday versus the Kansas City Chiefs.
Last week in this very column of how, where and when to watch the Seahawks play, I asked the players, “Please, don’t get hurt.” And then George Fant did! I am saying it is better to whiff with a no contact block than it is to get hurt. Please…this week…Seahawks, do not get injured. Pretty please with a Super Bowl ring on top.
Last week, Russell Wilson and company played the entire first half and looked very good. Expect the starters for Seattle to once again play much of the first half. The Chiefs bring a very good defense to Seattle, so how the Seahawks’ first-team offense does will be somewhat telling. “Somewhat” because in preseason, teams do not scheme against other teams because…well, it’s the preseason. Still, personnel on personnel, the Chiefs matchup well.
Biggest thing to look for in preseason week three is who plays left tackle for the Seahawks and how well they do. Could be Rees Odhiambo. Maybe it’ll be Matt Tobin. I am hoping for Joe Thomas (that won’t happen). Whomever it is, 12s need them to do well. Please.
