The Seahawks are 3-0 to start the preseason. Meaningless, of course. Except the first-team offense and defense has looked pretty good. Game four is on Thursday versus the Oakland Raiders.

What we learned last Friday is that Rees Odhiambo is the next great left tackle. Kind of joking. He was pretty good in his first start in preseason actually. But not great. Not yet.

The fact is, many presumed starters for both the Seahawks and the Raiders may not play on Thursday. This is the last preseason game for each. Both teams have probably pretty much figured out who’s going to make their respective rosters. If either of the head coaches are like, “Who is that player?” they pretty much shouldn’t be head coaches in the NFL.

Will the Seahawks play against former running back Marshawn Lynch? Probably not. Lynch will most likely sit. The night before might be must-watch dinner, though. If Lynch and some of his former teammates get together.

So, I hope you like your Seahawks with a lot of Trevone Boykin and Austin Davis. That’s what you are going to get.

Our friends at Just Blog Baby have a bit about what they think will game will be like too. They tend to agree with me.

What Derek Armstrong recommends to drink: Ok. I am changing this bit up. Derek Armstrong is 12th Man Rising’s go-to guy for recommending Seattle-area brews. Why Derek? Because he knows his beer, yo! This week Derek says to grab some Holy Mountain Demonteller, kick back and watch the game. But drive safely. Or, you know, it is Seattle so take some public transportation.
