Seahawks vs. Titans: Preview, TV and live stream
By Lee Vowell
The Seahawks travel to Nashville on Sunday to take on the Tennessee Titans. Both Seattle and Tennessee are 1-1 to start 2017. Here’s a quick look at how the game shapes up.
This is not a must-win game for the Seahawks. And that is a good thing. Tennessee is pretty good. The Titans did lose at home in week one to the Oakland Raiders, though. So they will not want to start off 0-2 at home, of course.
Seattle lost their first road game of the season week one against the Green Bay Packers. The Packers are probably better than Tennessee, but not by much. And unless the Seahawks struggling offense can play much better than it has, any opponent will be difficult. Seattle could easily lose this game by two touchdowns.
The key for the Seahawks defense, of course, is stopping the Titans running game while containing quarterback Marcus Mariota. Last season, Titans running back DeMarco Murray was third in the league in rushing. With Murray out with injury in week two, however, Derrick Henry took over and rushed for 92 yards on just 14 carries and scored a touchdown. The Titans are good at running the ball. Murray is questionable for Sunday.
Really, though, this game will be up to the Seattle offense scoring points. So far in 2017 they have scored 9 and 12 points, respectively. Score that many or fewer again in week three and the Seahawks will be 1-2 when they return home.
