Seahawks vs. Redskins: Prediction and live stream
By Lee Vowell
The Seahawks play a second straight home game for the only time this season. Washington has lost two straight games. This will surely be a Seattle win, right?
First the bad news. The Seahawks will be without future Hall of Fame safety Earl Thomas on Sunday. Thomas is out due to a hamstring strain.
Now for the good news. The Redskins are missing everyone on their roster. Ok. Not really, but it feels that way, right? Seattle cannot totally overlook Washington, however. Kirk Cousins is still playing and is still good. For a Seahawks defense that has not been immune to giving up big plays in 2017, Cousins has the ability to create some.
Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson is pretty good too, though. Against the Texans on Sunday, Wilson won the game with his legs and arm. If Seattle had not had Wilson, they would have lost by three touchdowns.
This week Seattle will start Eddie Lacy at running back. Seattle also added a very good left tackle in Duane Brown. The Seahawks want to get back to being more effective in the running game. This should be the week they do that.
The Redskins are depleted. Seattle is at home. And the Seahawks are simply a better team.
Oh, and Frank Clark gets two more sacks.
Prediction: Seattle 28 Washington 20
