The 7-4 Seattle Seahawks take on the 10-1 Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. The Eagles are not only winning, they are doing so in dominant fashion. Seattle is at least at home. Here’s who will win.

This Seahawks game scares me. For a lot of reasons. First, the Eagles rank first through third in almost every statistic that matters. And that is both offensively and defensively. Philadelphia has won its last three games by 28 points each. The Eagles do not simply defeat teams, they bury them early.

And this last part is what scares me the most. The Eagles are the highest scoring offense in the NFL at 31.9. But they have averaged 20 points in the first half in their last three games. Seattle, as we 12s all know, start…off…slowly. Philadelphia is third for the year in first half scoring. Seattle is 23rd.

True, the Seahawks have Russell Wilson who is phenomenal in the second halves of games and even better in fourth quarters. But the second half might be too late for Seattle to start scoring points.

Last year Philadelphia lost in Seattle. But Seattle had Sherman and Chancellor – each of whom intercepted a Carson Wentz pass – and the Eagles had a far worse receiving corps. The Eagles are young and without fear.

Prediction: Eagles 31 Seahawks 14
