The Seahawks’ season might be on the line Sunday versus the Rams. Same could be said for Los Angeles. Seattle against LA should be much television. Thought it may not be a fun watch.

Seahawks fans, this is your chance. You can affect the outcome of this game. Be loud and be fervent and simply be 12s. This has been a somewhat frustrating season in Seattle with mounting injuries and missed opportunities (field goals, mainly; See: Redskins game). After Sunday, Seattle has just one more regular season home game left and that game will not be as important as this week. The Seahawks must defeat the Rams on Sunday.

Seattle sits one game back of the Rams in the NFC West. There are a few different scenarios where Seattle can still make the playoffs. The most direct one is winning their last three games. A loss on Sunday would make getting to the postseason infinitely much more difficult.

But this game is at home. Seattle will have the 12s behind them and an offense that can still score points. My feeling is this game will be much higher scoring than when the teams played in week five, a 16-10 win for the Seahawks. Seattle’s defense has lost several key players since then. And the Rams gave up 43 points to the Eagles last week.

For Seattle to win, Russell Wilson must start off well and be great throughout the game. And Bobby Wagner must play. If these two things do not happen, Seattle will be 8-6 after Sunday.
