The Seahawks are preparing for two things right now: The NFL draft and free agency. Seattle is expected to make several roster changes this offseason. And according to one rumor, Michael Bennett will be traded.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Seahawks want to trade defensive tackle Michael Bennett “sooner rather than”…You get the understanding. And of course Seattle does! The longer this rumor about Bennett being traded goes on, the more is market value is driven down.

Rapoport, seemingly one of two guys who cover the NFL that is worth following (thank you, Adam Schefter!), says that Bennett could be moved, and also that Earl Thomas is likely to stay with the Seahawks and Jimmy Graham is likely to leave.

Or, maybe Rapoport is just like the Wolf in Pulp Fiction. Harvey Keitel doesn’t really say anything but the obvious: “Clean the car.” Rapoport is just saying what everyone knows: We 12s know Graham is out, why trade Thomas? and Bennett will be shopped to save cash.

Bennett is drawing interest from teams like the Atlanta Falcons, though. Bennett in Atlanta would be scary. He is still a very good player and the Falcons are still very talented. Plus, Seattle could face Atlanta in the playoffs in 2018.

Come on, Seattle! If you are trading the defensive tackle, trade him to an AFC team.

Shaquem Griffin is making believers at the NFL Scouting Combine

As we have already written about, Shaquill Griffin’s brother is a beast! Shaquem – and honestly at this point, does it matter that he has one hand? – is showing how immensely physically talented he is. He did 20 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press on Saturday. (This is basically 20 and 1/2 times the amount I could do.)

Not that he was finished. Griffin then ran a 4.38 40 yard dash. Or basically the fastest time by a linebacker in NFL combine history. Wouldn’t it be awesome if Seattle somehow ended up with both Griffins?
