So who are the top rated Seahawks?

Seattle Seahawks

So on to the Seahawks in general. Bobby Wagner is the highest rated of all Seahawks at 97. Only Luke Keuchly, rated at 99, is higher among all linebackers. Interesting as Keuchly had an off year – for him, anyway – due to injury. Wagner is primed for his best year yet. It’s worth noting here that Pro Football Focus ranked Wagner as the best linebacker of 2017, and Keuchly third.

Coming in at number two for Seattle isn’t Wilson, but Earl Thomas, the man who we hope will still be our free safety. Thomas is rated at 95 overall. He’s rated at 90 or better in awareness, speed, acceleration and agility. That’s a pretty good skill set for a free safety.

Russell Wilson comes in third with the 92 rating, but as I said, I expect that will go up as the season goes on. He also rates in the 90s for awareness, acceleration and agility. In addition to that 96 rating for throwing on the run, Wilson earned 90+ scores for ball carrier vision, throwing power, play action, breaking sacks and throwing under pressure. Yep, sounds like Number Three, alright.

Doug Baldwin of the Seahawks

Two Seahawks close out the ratings at 90

The final Seahawks in the top five came in with ratings of 90. One is bittersweet indeed, as it’s Kam Chancellor. You can take solace and keep him in your lineup, along with his 90+ ratings for awareness, jumping, power, play recognition, and stamina. Somehow they have rated him 83 at tackling. Ask Vernon Davis if Chancellor can tackle. I think he’ll get a 99.

The other 90+ player is Doug Baldwin. No doubt he’ll be Angry he didn’t get a higher rating. Baldwin scored 90+ in awareness, speed, acceleration and agility (seems to be a Seahawks theme). He also scored 90+ in ball carrier vision, juke moves, catching, catching in traffic, spectacular catches, and short route running.
