36. . G. (2001-05). Steve Hutchinson. 22. player

Chances are Steve Hutchinson would be higher on this list had he stayed in Seattle longer. However, considering that he played for the team for only five seasons, slotting him in at No. 22 seems like the safe bet.

Despite the lack of longevity, Hutchinson was a beast for the Seahawks during those five seasons. In that time, he earned three trips to the Pro Bowl and three All-Pro selections while serving as the centerpiece of an offensive line that helped Shaun Alexander have one of the most successful rushing seasons in NFL history.

Hutchinson was a key cog in Seattle’s run to Super Bowl XL, which ended up being his final game with the Seahawks. The next offseason, he joined the Minnesota Vikings via free agency and never looked back.

When put into perspective, Hutchinson may have been one of the best blockers to ever don a Seahawks jersey. It’s unfortunate his time with the club was so short (relatively), but the impact he made during those five seasons was more than enough to place him confidently among Seattle’s all-time bests.
