Unfortunately, there haven’t been a ton of standout quarterbacks to suit up for the Seahawks over the years. In fact, every one that’s started for more than three or four years is on this list, beginning with Jim Zorn.

Now admittedly, Zorn was far from a star under center. He was never named to a Pro Bowl or All-Pro team, and the majority of his seasons included more interceptions than touchdowns. While that may be the case, he was the Seahawks’ first starting quarterback who held the role for nearly a decade before finally being replaced.

Honestly, I think it all comes down to Zorn holding his own while the franchise was still getting its feet wet in the league. They didn’t make the playoffs until he was unseated by Dave Krieg, but he orchestrated a few solid seasons, including back-to-back 9-7 efforts.

If you’re really being nitpicky, you could make a case that this is way too high for Zorn. Chances are you wouldn’t get too much opposition in response. Regardless, I believe the franchise’s first gunslinger deserves a spot on this list for keeping his head above water while so many starting quarterbacks of expansion teams have drowned.
