On Thursday, the Seahawks play the Indianapolis Colts in each team’s first preseason game of 2018. Here is how to watch, listen and talk with fellow 12s.

The Seahawks sort of take on the Colts on Thursday. I mean, the two teams will play but the players expected to make the biggest impacts for their teams this season will not be on the field much, if at all.

Don’t expect Russell Wilson to play more than a drive or two, for instance. This goes for nearly all the key members of Seattle’s roster. And Doug Baldwin will not play at all.

On the Colts side, quarterback Andrew Luck will play a bit. This will be his first game action in 585 days. He might be rusty. But with how vanilla Seattle’s defense will be, it won’t matter.

There are things to watch in this game, though, especially for Seattle’s special teams. Will Michael Dickson out-punt Jon Ryan and earn the position? Who will be the Seahawks kicker in 2018? Plus, rookies will definitely play, so it will be exciting to see Shaquem Griffin and Rashaad Penny, among others, suit up against an opposing team for the first time.
