The Seahawks should be 0-2 after Monday Night Football. At least according to the current odds who have the Bears favored.

According to OddsShark, the Seahawks are currently a 3.5 point underdog to the Chicago Bears for week two. This may be based on several things. Like Chicago being the home team, which almost always is an advantage in the NFL. Or maybe a couple of other things.

One is that the Bears should have beaten the Green Bay Packers last Sunday. Chicago had a 20-3 lead in the fourth quarter when Aaron Rodgers amazingly led Green Bay back to win 24-23. But for most of the game, the Bears were better.

A win for Chicago in week one against the Packers, especially after recently acquiring Khalil Mack, would have been a huge confidence boost for the Bears. Even after the loss, Chicago has to be feeling better good about themselves.

Two, the Seahawks did not protect Russell Wilson very well against the Broncos. And Wilson did not help matters by taking at least two bad sacks. One sack was on second-and-one when he simply held on to the ball too long. And Chicago’s Mack is most likely relishing going up against Seattle’s right side of the offensive line.

dark. Next. 3 biggest worries for Seahawks in 2018

There is no real reason to think Seattle should be favored on Monday Night Football this coming weekend. The Seahawks did barely lose on the road to Denver in week one. But they didn’t show enough to think week two would be a sure win. And like I said, winning on the road in the NFL is difficult.
