The Seahawks play the Bears on Monday Night Football this week. Both teams are 0-1. Here’s our guest prediction and how to watch.

Hello, Seahawks fans. So you’re (and my) team has begun 2018 at 0-1. It’s early. Seattle will get better. Or so we hope. But they are incredibly injured.

According to our guest predictor for week two – the great Raphael Haynes of the 3 Point Conversion – Seattle will not win in week two either. Here are Mr. Haynes’s thoughts.

“With the Chicago Bears and the Seattle Seahawks both coming into Monday Night’s game at 0-1, there is an important aspect of the game that will determine the outcome. The important matter will be controlling the line of scrimmage. Both teams like to run the ball and control the clock. Yet still, their defenses wants to dominate the line and force their will with their front seven.

Seattle was gashed for 141 yards on the ground, which allowed the Denver Broncos to dictate the pace of the game. If the Seahawks allow the Bears to dominate by running the ball down their throats, this will set up play-action and deep passes which will open the game up. Chicago must cease the opportunity to focus on stopping the run without dealing with any major threat from the Hawks wide receivers.

Due to Doug Baldwin being out, they will have to depend on Tyler Lockett and a 34-year old Brandon Marshall.  Will Dissly will have a tough time going up against a stout defense that basically blanketed the Green Bay Packers’ tight end Jimmy Graham. Chicago will have the advantage on both sides of the ball with players like running back Jordan Howard, guard Kyle Long, linebackers Khalil Mack and Leonard Floyd and Akiem Hicks just to name a few.

Chicago wins 26-17.”
