The Seahawks have been an injured bunch so far in 2018. But things appear to be getting a little better.

After two straight weeks of missing players like K.J. Wright, Bobby Wagner and Doug Baldwin, the Seahawks are starting to get a few players back. For a team that is on the brink of a very lost season, this is very good news.

Returning to practice on Wednesday were Wagner, D.J. Fluker (hamstring), Delano Hill (hamstring) and Tre Flowers (yes, another hamstring issue). Wright appears to still be not able to play on Sunday as he sat out practice again. As did Justin Britt.

Britt injured his shoulder in week three against Chicago. Seattle is still deciding who to start at center if Britt cannot play. I have always heard that his backup Joey Hunt knows the offense as well as anyone. Hunt may not have the most physical talent but someone who can call out the offensive line calls with ease should start, no?

The other issue is that the Seahawks might think about moving Ethan Pocic over to center for the Cowboys game. But Pocic sat out practice himself on Wednesday. Pocic appears to have come up with some kind of ankle problem.

Receiver Baldwin still isn’t practicing and there in no timetable for his return. He could miss two weeks or much more. Baldwin sprained his MCL and those kinds of injuries can be long-lasting without rest.

If Fluker returns he should at least help with run blocking. He has not yet shown to be a good pass blocker in the NFL. That said, the Seahawks and Brian Schottenheimer doesn’t seem to remember how to run the ball. So even with Fluker, Russell Wilson might get sacked six times again.
