While teams like the San Francisco 49ers are losing key players, the Seahawks are getting some good ones back. Here is Seattle’s mid-week injury report for week four’s Cardinals game.

The Seahawks have been missing important players all season. Linebacker K.J. Wright, for instance, has missed the entire season with an injured knee. And receiver Doug Baldwin has not played since early in game one with two injured knees.

Baldwin has a decent chance of playing on Sunday against the Cardinals, though. According to coach Pete Carroll, “He looks really good and light on his feet, and he looks very confident that he can have a chance to play this week.” Quarterback Russell Wilson may be the happiest person on earth should Baldwin play. The 49ers should feel so lucky.

Wright is probably going to miss another week, at least. Carroll said Wright needed to be slowed a bit this week. The Seahawks clearly do not want to rush Wright back. And they shouldn’t. Mychal Kendricks has played really well the last two weeks in Wright’s place.

The offensive line has had to undergo several changes so far. Against the Cowboys, Seattle got back D.J. Fluker at right guard but had to play without center Justin Britt and left guard Ethan Pocic. Thankfully, Joey Hunt played well in Britt’s absence. In fact, Hunt has graded out better than Britt in 2018, according to Pro Football Focus.

Carroll feels comfortable with Sweezy and will be in no hurry to bring Pocic back too early. Though PFF has graded Pocic as much better than Sweezy this season, Sweezy had a good game against Dallas and could build on that.

dark. Next. What is happening with Earl Thomas and the Seahawks?

Two players dealing with core injuries, the oft-injured defensive end Dion Jordan and running back C.J. Prosise, are iffy to play in Arizona. Jordan appears closer than Prosise, though. And Jordan plays at a position of greater need for him to play. As well as Chris Carson is playing, Prosise may not be needed for some time.
