Seahawks podcast: Previewing the Cardinals game week four
By Lee Vowell
You love reading about the Seahawks. Well, now you can listen to the soothing tones of Kevin and Lee as we preview the first matchup with the Cardinals of 2018.
The Seahawks defeated the Cowboys on Sunday! Woo-hoo! Playoffs, here we come! Well, maybe. Seattle still has a losing record.
But a win over the Cardinals in Arizona this week could change the way the team and 12s see the season unfolding. Maybe. The Rams are still easily the best team in the NFC West so Seattle is really battling for a Wildcard spot.
Here is what we discussed on this week’s podcast.
We reviewed the win over the Cowboys. Finally the Seahawks decided to actually run the ball. And Chris Carson was fantastic. The offensive line was pretty good, too.
We go in-depth on what exactly Seattle should do with Earl Thomas. Should Seattle let their future Hall of Fame safety walk after this season? Or should Seattle trade him? Possibly the team could do a good thing and extend him?
There were some negatives from Sunday’s win. Punter Michael Dickson had his worst week in his young career. And Brandon Marshall dropped three passes.
We previewed this weeks Cardinals game. Arizona’s offense is terrible. But they will start rookie Josh Rosen for the first time. Will Rosen ignite and inspire and lead Arizona to an important win? Important for the Cardinals, of course, and not Seattle.
Plus, we discuss who wins on Sunday and why. And what would a Seahawks victory (or loss) mean for the rest of the season? Hear all of this and more (and on COYL Entertainment too!) and as always: Go Hawks!
