The Seahawks and Cardinals play for the first time in 2018 on Sunday. Arizona could fall to 0-4. Seattle could move to 2-2.

The Seahawks could even their record at 2-2 with a win on Sunday. And really, Seattle should defeat the Cardinals convincingly. There are several reasons why.

First, the Cardinals offense has been awful. Arizona averages 6.7 points per game and there isn’t much that says Arizona should do any better. This week, Arizona will start rookie Josh Rosen at quarterback. At least Rosen gets his first NFL career start at home.

Second, Arizona is 29th in the league in rush defense giving up 131.3 yards per game. The Cardinals have given up the most rushing touchdowns per game with five. (To be fair, Seattle ranks 30th in the league in rushing yards allowed, but the Seahawks haven’t given up any rushing touchdowns this year.)

Third, Arizona has given up the fifth highest yards-per-punt return at 12.8 on four returns. Seattle has an excellent punt returner with Tyler Lockett. Things could get exciting on Sunday when the Cardinals punt.

Of course, this is the same NFL where an 0-2 Bills team that was favored to lose by more than two touchdowns to Minnesota absolutely torched the Vikings this past Sunday. So, literally, anything can happen.
