Can the Rams sustain long-term success?

12th Man : The Rams have loaded up for success over the next couple of seasons. How does this team sustain long-term success over the next five years?

SR: That’s a good question and may not have an immediate answer. They did make some picks to account for an aging offensive line, but looking ahead, especially after 2019, it gets interesting. They have a core on the offensive side of the ball, but after Aaron Donald, it’s anyone’s guess what the defense looks like. Clearly the next two drafts will help, but the early indication is that McVay and General Manager Les Snead aren’t afraid to use free agency as an early draft option.

Who wins when the Seahawks play the Rams?

12th Man: Who wins on Sunday and why?

SR: I like the Rams on Sunday. Over their first eight games, LA had the better talent on the field and they went 8-0. That changed in New Orleans when they ran into the best team in not just the NFC but the NFL. It’s hard to hang with the Rams over 60 minutes. LA can score quick and they can score often. As soft as the defense has shown to be, McVay has a ton of firepower that Seattle likely can’t match.

12th Man summary

Clearly, Steve Rivera of Ramblin’ Fan is confident. He should be. Seattle alwaus has probably with the Rams and that is even when Los Angeles was bad. Now they are good. Andthe Seahawks are retooling. 2019 might make for a better matchup between these teams than week 10 of 2018 will be.
