The Seahawks lost to the Rams in week 10 dropping Seattle to 4-5. Here is how Seattle graded in their 36-31 loss.

The Seahawks fell to the Rams on Sunday. Seattle’s loss means that the team needs to go at least 5-2 the rest of the season to make the playoffs. This seems unlikely. Still, anything is possible with Russell Wilson.

And Seattle really had no business being anywhere close to winning against the Rams. Los Angeles moved the ball too easily against a young defense. And Seattle was already missing Chris Carson and D.J. Fluker.

But there the Seahawks were. With a bit over a minute left and in Rams territory Seattle had the ball first and 10. They couldn’t pull off the win but Seattle is a changing team and an improving one. The schedule doesn’t ease for the next several weeks. By that time, the Seahawks could basically be without playoff hopes.

Seattle isn’t a bad team. They simply aren’t good enough to be in the top half of the league yet. Maybe next year but certainly not this one. On Sunday, though, they proved they can stay in a game with nearly everyone.

A completely healthy Seattle team might have beaten Los Angeles. But there are few healthy teams in the NFL. So playing without injured players isn’t an excuse for losing. But what would the running backs grade versus the Rams have been if Carson had played, for instance?

As it were the running backs still did well. But what were all the grades for the Seahawks from Sunday?
