Josh Rosen’s season

12th Man Rising: What are your thoughts on quarterback Josh Rosen’s rookie year and do you think he will turn out to be a franchise quarterback?

Allen: The jury is still out I think on Rosen’s future.  He certainly still has the chance to be a franchise quarterback.  I would love him to get a full season behind a decent offensive line.  The offensive line has been decimated by injury and poor play all season long.  Rosen has a lot to learn still but as I already said, it can only benefit him to get a chance to play this season before beginning 2019 as the starter.

12th Man Rising: Who wins when the Seahawks play the Cardinals in week 17 and why?

Allen: I think you and I could field and team and be competitive against the Cardinals.  Seriously though, I don’t care how much Seattle puts on the breaks or rests players if that’s what they so choose to do.  Seattle will win this running away 38-7.  The Cardinals are ready for the season to end and they’ve looked that way for at least the last three weeks.

Summary

I would like to thank Scott Allen of Raising Zona for answering five questions about Sunday’s game. It wasn’t too long ago that the Cardinals and Seahawks were the two best teams in the division. And it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Cardinals get back to that level in a few years.
