Though the Seahawks 2019 schedule has yet to be announced as far as who they play when, here is a guess as far as who they could play in marquee matchups.

The Seahawks are not going away, 12s. Last year was supposed to be a bit of a backward step. It wasn’t. Seattle got back to the playoffs and with a few tweaks could have made it deeper in the postseason. 2019 is not a year that Seattle should be expected to watch other teams have a chance at a championship. Seattle could make the Super Bowl too.

Any fan base in any sport should hope their teams do well in the forthcoming season. Some fans are more realistic than others. But John Schneider and Pete Carroll have set the expectation for 12s that their team will be good every year. For fans, this is a great thing. But Schneider and Carroll kind of set themselves up for failure nearly every season yet nearly every season they exceed those expectations. Schneider is a good general manager and Carroll is a great coach. Good for Seahawks fans.

The 2019 Seattle schedule might be easier, but then every schedule ranking is based on the previous season. And every team in the NFL makes a multitude of changes that could improve their team seemingly greatly (the 2019 Brown) or hurt their team (the 2018 Steelers). Unfortunately, Seattle plays the Browns in 2019. And that game is in Cleveland. (When is the last time any team feared the Browns? Yet, that fear could be real this coming season.)

Here are the five games that Seattle could find themselves in that are showcased in primetime once the NFL announces its schedule later this month.
