Seahawks at the Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles are just a year removed from being Super Bowl champions and both the Seahawks and Philadelphia made the playoffs in 2018. Both teams will be trying to win their respective divisions too. The Eagles will be battle the Cowboys, most likely, for the division crown and Seattle will try to overcome the Rams and maybe even the 49ers for the NFC West title.

Just like Seattle versus Cleveland, this outcome of this game could be decided by the teams’ quarterbacks. The last couple of seasons the Eagles have been successful, of course, but that was mostly without Carson Wentz. Wentz has all the physical tools to be among the best quarterbacks in the NFL, so it is odd that his team has been more successful without him.

Philadelphia is a team that tries to constantly improve itself, though. They traded for running back Jordan Howard in attempts to improve its running game, for instance. The Eagles are not afraid to make in-season moves as well, as when they traded for Jay Ajayi in 2017.

The point is that if Seattle faces the Eagles early in the season they should have a good idea of who is playing where. But if the Seahawks travel to Philly later in the year, the Eagles might have made a move or three to improve their team and the Seahawks will have to game plan around that.
