What will the Seahawks do in the 2019 NFL Draft and what are their priorities? Here is our staffs best guesses. Yell at at us when we are wrong.

The Seahawks currently have five picks in the 2019 NFL Draft. Two of them are in the first round. Things will change. There is no way that Seattle general manager will stay put with just those five choices. He will probably want seven or eight at least. Most likely, the Seahawks will trade one of their first round picks for a second round choice and more.

After trading talented edge rusher Frank Clark this week, Seattle’s glaring need at defensive end just got worse. Who is going to replace Clark’s sacks? Seattle currently has not proven edhe rushers on the roster. Maybe Seattle will sign one, like free agent Ezekiel Ansah. But Ansah comes with question marks that Clark did not. Namely, Clark didn’t get hurt and Ansah does.

Seattle’s draft might also be affected by the Russell Wilson extension. When Seattle signed Wilson for four more seasons at $140 million, it affected what they can do with their roster. Will they be able to extend linebacker Bobby Wagner and defensive tackle Jarran Reed too? Both Wagner and Reed are free agents after the 2019 season.

Seattle also has needs at receiver and they need to find a third running back. Will they find an answer to everything they have to have this weekend?

So what does our staff think will happen in Seattle’s draft this weekend? Here are our thoughts.
