November

The Seahawks get their bye-week in November. This is a bit later than normal in recent years and it will be needed. October was a bit brutal. But will Seattle make it out of November still in good shape for the postseason?

Week nine at home versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, November 3rd at 1:05 pm PT

The last time Seattle played the Bucs they lost. That was in 2016 when Seattle still had Kam Chancellor and Richard Sherman. Earl Thomas missed the game with an injury. Seattle barely scored losing 14-5. The Seahawks were better on paper then and will be better in 2019 and this game is at home with young turks wanting to make the mark with Seattle. Plus, Ziggy Ansah will have a big game.

Prediction: Seahawks 27 Buccaneers 17

Week ten on the road versus the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football, November 11th

Seattle has a tremendous prime time record under Pete Carroll. He just knows how to get his players ready to go when the lights are brightest. Still, the 49ers defeated the Seahawks last year at home in a game Seattle had no business losing. Seattle will lose this one too.

This will be the first of four straight prime time games for Seattle.

Prediction: 49ers 24 Seahawks 21

Week twelve on the road versus the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football, November 24th

As I mentioned earlier, Seattle will play four difficult games in a row starting with the Eagles matchup. And I already have them losing the 49ers game as a lead-in to the tough four game stretch. Thankfully, Seattle has two things in its favor traveling to play the Eagles. One is that Russell Wilson has had success against Carson Wentz. Wilson is 2-0 against Wentz. The second thing is that the Seahawks will be coming off of a bye week and they will know how important this Eagles game is and will be relatively rested.

Prediction: Seahawks 35 Eagles 31

If I am right, the Seahawks will go 2-1 in November and head into December at 7-4. As long as they don’t fall apart, they should make the postseason.
