Seahawks all-time dream team defense by position

If the Seahawks had a dream team defense it would be made up from these players from the franchises’s history. And a bunch of them are from this decade.

The Seahawks success of this decade has mostly been made up from the defense. Sure, Russell Wilson has won a ton of games in Seattle. But early in Wilson’s career, Seattle won a Super Bowl and went to another. If the defense was not as good as it was in 2013 and 2014, Seattle would not have made the Super Bowl whether Wilson was with the team or not.

But Seattle’s defensive legacy does not stop with the beginning of this decade. Two of the four Pro Football Hall of Famers who went in as Seahawks went in on the defensive side. Clearly, more on those two in a moment because if I do not include them on a best-of defensive list for Seattle I am just insane. (Maybe you think I am already?)

Seattle does currently have some great defensive players. Bobby Wagner is going to make this list; That is not a surprise. Wagner is an all-time great linebacker no matter which team he played for. Other than Wagner, though, there may not be any all-time greats for Seattle yet.
