The Seahawks play the Broncos in Seattle’s first preseason game of 2019. Here is what to watch for and how to see what happens.

The Seahawks play the Broncos on Thursday. This game is great if you also enjoy things like minor league baseball and junior college basketball. Why? Because you will not see in preseason game one the key players for Seattle in 2019 much, if at all. Preseason is a time for seeing who will make the fringe of Seattle’s roster, not for seeing if Russell Wilson is any good. (Hint: He really is.)

There are still reasons to watch. One is that it is football, so duh. Two is that players on the back end of the roster will be playing their butts off to make the team. Rarely will you see such driven players. Three is that it is football, so again, duh.

Also, preseason games are meaningless. Remember that last preseason Seattle lost every game but in the regular season made the playoffs, so there’s that.

You still want to watch the Seahawks game? Here is how. Just be prepared that if you live outside of the Seattle area it gets much more difficult to watch the game live as exhibition games are not on the NFL Sunday Ticket. The NFL Network carries some live games but not all.
