The Seahawks preseason is almost complete. But roster battles continue. Here is our best guess at who makes Seattle’s team in 2019.

These Seahawks have been a team in flux for a few years now. That isn’t a bad thing. Coach Pete Carroll likes a young team and likes to keep players from getting lazy or going so far out on their own they lose track of this being a team-first franchise. Competition for playing time is always the norm for Seattle players under Carroll. 2019 is nothing new. Neither will 2020. Or 2021. Or however long Carroll coaches in Seattle.

We know, of course, who will be the quarterback in Seattle. That would be Russell Wilson, who is on a trek for the Hall of Fame at his current pace. We also know that Bobby Wagner is going to be starting at linebacker. He is the best in the NFL at his position and there isn’t really an argument against that.

There are a few other players, of course, like Chris Carson, who are locks. But the back end of the roster is a bit open, especially in areas of need. For instance, who is going to making up the new Legion of Boom? Or who is going to step in and take Doug Baldwin‘s old spot at receiver? Lastly, which players are going to help put pressure on opposing quarterbacks?

All the questions and more have to be answered successfully for the Seahawks to get to and go deep in the playoffs. Here are my best guesses at who makes the team in 2019.
