Maybe there will not be a lot to take from either the Seahawks or the Raiders. But here’s how to watch Seattle’s last preseason game of 2019.
The Seahawks will play few starters, if any, on Thursday against the Raiders in their final meaningless game of 2019. Oakland/Las Vegas might just pick people from the stands to come down, put on a Raiders uniform and get some snaps. Of course, the game is in Seattle so good luck doing that, Jon Gruden!
There will still be a few Seattle players fighting for roster spots, but mostly back end of the roster guys. Still, there are only 53 players on a given roster so every player matters, right? So is the final linebacker spot going to come down to Shaquem Griffin or Ben Burr-Kirven? Will the final safety spot be DeShawn Shead or Lano Hill?
Rookie Marquise Blair might also see a lot of action and that is exciting and worth watching alone. Sure, he is going up against backups of backups, but that might make him look even better.
At the end of the night it still comes down to rooting for the Seahawks no matter if the game matters or not. 12s all want to say, “‘Hawks won!”
